This yellow and black strappy thing is called a TRX ( also known as the Total Body Resistance Exercise) and it’s something that I love using daily in my own workouts and I infuse it into my client’s program to keep it fun, challenging and filled with variety. The TRX is great because you can take it anywhere and it can be used in a small space such as your hotel room or lounge room. My TRX comes everywhere with me, when my husband and I travel we pull up a palm tree and do a session, so there is no excuse. It’s a system that involves using your body weight, which means the full body is utilised making your full core unit work harder. You can add weights if you want to, I’ve outlined one exercise in my video where it comes in handy. Before you start, please do a good warmup including foam rolling and stretching. Always switch on your core, keep a neutral spine and activate your pelvic floor muscles for safety and to reap the benefits of exercising correctly.
