The Busy Schedule Workout

Qualified and professional, personal trainer Johann Ruys from ATLETA Fitness has shared with us his exclusive full body workout that is perfect for a busy schedule.
I’m sure we’ve all, at some stage or another, felt guilty after skipping yet another lunch time workout in lieu of a busy work schedule and building to-do list. When time is so precious it can be difficult to steal away long enough for a solid workout, whilst also keeping to a busy schedule (and maintaining a balanced diet).
When it comes down to it though, 30 minutes is a mere 2% of our day; and all you’re going to need for this full-body workout. We’re going to utilise large movements and minimal rest to work the body, and get our heart rate racing along the way.
For this short workout, we’ve combined exercises that use large muscle groups and that involve multiple joint actions, interspersed with traditional ‘cardio’ exercises, to keep our heart’s working hard while our muscles rest. Complete 3 rounds as listed below. Take your towel and drink with you (you’ll need them), and keep going until the circuit is complete.
Please note that to avoid any injury, the mass of any weights used should be suited to your size and your weight.
