You may remember her from Hi-5, seen her sing on youtube or you may remember her from The Voice in 2014 where she worked alongside mentor Ricky Martin.
We recently had the chance to ask Fely Irvine some questions about her time on The Voice and what it was like to work with Ricky Martin.
She also gave us an insight into the real Fely, her passions and the music she is into.
1. Tell us a little more about yourself and maybe something we may not know about you...
Something you may not know about me, especially as I am always in beautiful dresses on the red carpet. I'm actually the biggest tom-boy, behind closed doors I'
m one of the boys, always have been. Don't get me wrong, I love dresses and heels but if I had my way, I would be in ripped jeans and baggy Tee's every day of the week.
2. What was the last song you listened to?
W.A.Y.S by Jhene Aiko. I'm actually listening to it right now.
3. What are your other passions apart from music?
I have a passion for sketching and photography. It's been a while since I've had the time to sit down and draw, but it's a wonderful creative release. I also secretly love being behind the camera a little more than I do being in front of it.
4. If you could claim any albums as your own, who's would it be and why?
Considering I'm listening to Jhene Aiko's album 'Souled Out' right now and I'm slightly obsessed with it at the moment, I would definitely love to claim her album. Her music takes me to a place I never want to leave.
5. What was it like working with Ricky Martin?
Ricky Martin is an absolute angel. He's the same on and off the camera, his presence is magnetic.
6. How do you calm your nerves before hitting the stage?
To be honest, I don't think I'm good at calming my nerves at all. I can really work myself up into a state, the only thing that gets me through is that fact I know the minute I'm on the stage and the music starts, everything fades away. The lead up is always the worst for me.
7. What do you have in store for your fans in 2015?
I'm working on a few projects this year, nothing I can divulge at the moment.
8. The best advice you have ever received...
'Everything happens for a reason' You need to trust the timing of your life. I wouldn't be where I am today, if it weren't for all the choices I've made. There are no mistakes. I live by this.
9. Your advices for those wanting to get into the music industry?
It's a tough one to crack, but if you are truly passionate about it, then your hard work and perseverance will pay off. Make sure you love what you do and everything will work out.
10. One thing you can’t live without and why....
My passport. If I couldn't pick up and travel to anywhere in the world, I would be a very different person. Travel is something I can always justify, no matter where I am in my life. You learn and grow so much when you travel and I have a lot more growing up to do.
