Our thoughts ..
Cloud 9 Deep Cleansing Balm – 20ml
The Cloud 9 Deep Cleansing Balm is describe to "cleanse and moisturises at the same time (unlike common cleansers)." It also says that "By using organic
plant oils to dissolve the oily impurities in your skin it gently melts away daily grime, oxidised sebum (black heads), makeup and sunscreen without leaving
your skin drier than an Australian desert."
Black head commonly show up on the face in oily areas or creases. After reading that the cleansing balm could be used to reduce the appearance of black heads,
I thought I must put it to the test. Over a span of 5 days I noticed a visible difference with the black heads on my nose. They appeared to be smaller and there was a reduction in the overall appearance.
Raindrops on Roses Hydrating Tonic (normal, dry & sensitive skin)
What I love most about this Facial Toner is the strong rosy aroma! I also like that it comes in a handy spray bottle, this saves time when it comes to application. The hydrating tonic is not only
hydrating but refreshing, relaxing, and uplifting.
I would say it is perfect to spray to use either first think in the morning or in the night before bed.
Good Vibes Omega Facial Oil (normal, dry & sensitive skin)
This oil has a pleasant aroma that is somewhat refreshing. When you first smell the facial oil it is almost like it has a subtle hint of mint.
In the product description on the happy organics website it says that
this Facial oil helps to retain moisture, so we put it to the test. I applied this oil in the night before bed and when I woke in the
morning my skin still felt moisturised. A big tick for moisturised
Pig In Mud Mineral Mask – 4g
Would I recommend this mask to others? The answer is YES! The Pig In Mud mask is a great addition to ones daily routine! I think this is a product that one should you at least once or twice a week.
My biggest tip with face masks is to be careful not to add too much water! It is best too add water using the spoon, this allows you to get the perfect
Clays is used to draw out impurities from skin and you can definitely feel the mask working its magic. After application, I allowed the mask to dry on my face
and at this stage you could almost feel a pulling sensation on the skin. Not a bad pulling sensation but more like the marsk was working its magic to draw
out any impurities.
‘Perfectly Happy’ Light Anti-Oxidant Cream – 12ml
This cream is extreamly moisturising, leaving the skin feeling hydrated and soft. I think this is all down to the ingredients combined within this product. They have range or great benefits, some of which include;
Kakadu Plum – The highest natural source of collagen boosting Vitamin C. It also contains ellagic acid which is known to help recover from the ageing
effects of oxidative stress.
Quandong – It revitalises, refreshes and nourishes the skin which can help reduce fine lines. It contains the antioxidant Rutin which can help dark
circles and puffy eyes.
Grass Lily – A traditional healing plant of Aborigines. It cools the skin and
it great for evening skin tone and healing pesky blemishes.
Jalbi Bark – Another traditional healing plant known as the medicine tree.
It is great at rejuvenating skin and clearing blemishes.
