When it comes to One Direction, the hits keep on coming! At the conclusion of the sold out world tour the band dropped some fresh new tracks, with the release of the fourth album, ‘FOUR’.
The album was highly anticipated, with the teaser songs ‘Fireproof’ and ‘Steal My Girl’ giving fans a snippet of what was to come and keeping excitement levels high . At this point, ‘directioners’ in particular, were going crazy as they waited to hear more from the album which was just around the corner.
Artists, Ed Sheeran and Passenger combined to write a song for the album called ’18’ . This is the second song Ed Sheeran has written for the boys with a previous hit track ‘Little Things’.
Writer Jamie Scott, of hit songs Story of My Life and You & I also wrote a track for the newly released album titled ‘Fools Gold’.
The album has a bit of something for everyone…
For those of you who like good guitar riffs or harmonies, hit play on ‘Ready to Run’.
‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go’ co written by Harry Styles, has an extremely catchy chorus. This one is bound to stick in your head. Many interviews with the boy band, have revealed that this is one of their favourite songs on the album.
One of our favourite tracks, ‘Night Changes’ will have you replaying the track over and over. With a newly release video now live on VEVO, the video clip allows fans to imagine their dream date with each band member…. or so you think until the tables turn and the dates change for the worst, (whilst remaining humorous of course!)
Next up ‘Girl Almighty’, with an extremely catchy beat this one will not only have you singing but dancing too! This song lets us hear the Pop-Rock side of the boys.
‘Stockholm Syndrome’ & ‘Clouds’, are two of the slower (Pop-Rock) tracks from their album which have you listening all the way through to the end.
Overall….well…the album is packed with hit after hit. We feel assured that you will be hearing a fair few of those tracks on the radio over the next few weeks/ months.
