When you are looking to convert to natural and/or organic products then nail polish is no exception to the rule.
The effects of chemicals contained within nail polish can be easily overlooked.
We were recently sent a '5-free' RGB nail sheer in S4 from Nourished life and we decided to put it to the test.
Does this '5-free' nail polish still provide a quality product with a good finish?
First up what does it mean when it says '5-free'...
This particular product has No Formaldehyde, No Toluene, No DBP, No Formaldehyde Resin, No Camphor.
The Brush – The brush is has good quality bristles. This is very important as the brush has a major effect on the finish of the nail polish on your nails.
The Colour - This is a 'nail sheer', its a light finish, slightly translucent, so if you are looking for a deep colour it may be best to look another colour from the RGB range. (Availablehere). In saying this, if you apply more than one coat of this nail sheer it does darken in colour.
The Chip Test - This nail polish has a great staying power and lasted longer than the usual nail polish without chipping or the need to re-apply.
Drying Time - One of the worst things after painting your nails is if the smudge or take to long to dry! This is is why we loved that the RGB S4 Nail Sheer has a fast dry time.
Cruelty Free - Did we mention that the RGB range are also cruelty free!
Overall we really liked the RGB S4 nail sheer. It had a nice smooth finish and lasted for quite a while without chipping!
