We rarely get excited about hair brushes and in fact this is the first time we have ever reviewed one.
We have read some raving reviews on the internet including from Kendall Jenner, about The Wet Brush and so we were ecstatic to receive a package in the mail from ry.com.au containing the The Wet Brush Wet 2 Style Brush Pack .
The brush is the same size as your "Classic" hair brush and looks exactly the same but works wonders!
The Wet Brush says it is designed to be used on wet hair and we were a bit sceptical about this. We have always been told NEVER to brush wet hair. The Wet Brush looked the same as all the others hair brushes but it was telling me to brush 'wet' hair!
With naturally thick and fairly long hair it is always getting tangled, especially after letting it dry naturally.
When I first brushed my wet hair with The Wet Brush, I discovered my hairs new best friend! My hair INSTANTLY felt detangled and more silky than ever before! At the first glance the Wet Brush seemed just like any other hair brush, so I was really interested in knowing what made it work so well.
After some research I found it was all down to the bristles...
“The Wet Brush’s IntelliFlex bristle is designed to be ultra thin and flexible, yet still have rapid recovery memory to instantly bounce back to its original shape."
So I compared the bristles to the ones on my standard hair brush. The ones on my hair brush seemed to be harder and more rigid. The ones on The Wet Brush were soft and more flexible, so it started to make sense that The Wet brush would not be as harsh on my hair.
On wet hair: I used this brush both in the shower and whilst my hair was wet after a shower and on both occasions it worked a treat.
On dry hair: I used this brush on dry hair when I first received it because I could not wait to use it. It does work on dry hair leaving the hair smooth and silky, however it has a tendency to leave the hair a little static.
The Wet Brush is just one of those things you have to try for yourself to believe. The Wet Brush is available for purchase from ry.com.au
Now onto The Hot Brush by The Wet Brush. Styling hair using a brush and a blow dryer can be an extremely tedious task and a heavy brush can make the job a whole lot harder. What I loved most about The Hot Brush by The Wet Brush is that it is extremely light weight.
This means when you are using it to style your hair with the blow-dryer it makes things a whole lot easier.
If you use a brush to style your hair regularly then you must purchase the by The Hot Brush by The Wet Brush from ry.com.au. Unlike the standard styling brush the technology is again all in the bristles... "The Hot Brush is formatted with ThermaFlex bristles. ThermaFlex are incredibly still durable bristles and can withstand heat up to 230`C/450`F. its seam-free, no snag, integrated uni-body is perfect for thermal styling"
