We were lucky enough to recently chat with the gorgeous Alli Simpson. Alli is curently a host for Radio Disney, face of Mudd. singer, fashionista and of course a young loving, chilled out chick from Australia, living life in LA. Being little sister to Cody Simpson, we have to say that talent runs in the family and Alli latest release featuring Jack & Jack proves just that.
We chat with Alli about her new track Roll 'Em Up, her musical inspirations, working with Jack & Jack and Madison Beer, her hidden talents and so much more!
Exclusive to Swank & Roche, Alli even shares with us some of her BTS photos and selfies taken on the set of her Roll Em' Up video.

1. Tell us a little bit about your latest release and the inspiration behind it?
My latest release is called Roll ‘Em Up and it features Youtube sensations "Jack & Jack". Its a fun re-write of 'old school' song, "Short Shorts". My brother Cody Simpson and Selena Gomez and producer C.J. Baran got together and rewrote the song and worked up a new, contemporary vibe. The intention was purely to have fun, and I believe the new track is amazing and really represents that; it's for people to listen to, dance to, and have a good time.
2. How would you describe ‘Roll ‘Em Up’ in a few words?
WHO WEARS SHORT SHORTS? WE WEAR SHORT
3. How would you describe your current sound?
I honestly wouldn’t know how to describe the sound, other than 'fun'; music that makes you want to get up and dance. Thats my goal; that listeners find it impossible to sit down.
4. What was it like working with Jack & Jack and Madison Beer?
So wonderful. Jack & Jack are two of the most funny and down to earth guys I’ve met in LA, so to work with them professionally is an honor. What was extra special about this project was that it came so organically; simply through friendship. I Love those guys!
Madison is a sweetheart also, she was a great addition to the video, bringing her special brand of warmth and enthusiasm. And since she’s going out with Jack Gilinsky, it made perfect sense! Madison is extremely talented in her own right and I am so grateful that she was able to take time out of her own busy schedule to do this with me.
5. Are you able to share any exclusive BTS pics and selfies with us…

6. Aside from being a great role model, how has your brother Cody Simpson, influenced your music/career?
Cody was the one who inspired me to begin doing music in the first place. He is constantly helping and inspiring me pushing me to work harder at everything I do. At the same time he reminds me to keep my feet on the ground and to always be a good person. I am so grateful that Cody is my brother.
7. One thing that you have not done but would like to…
One of my aims for next year will be to attend New York and London Fashion Week. I love fashion!
8. If you could claim any album as your own whose would it be and why?
Either '1989', by Taylor Swift. Or ‘X’ by Ed Sheeran. They are both remarkable albums by extremely talented, inspirational artists; every song on both albums is amazing.
9. Something your fans may not know about you, maybe a hidden talent?
Interesting question because the majority of the time I am so very open with my fans (friends) that they likely know pretty much everything about me! I can do a weird thing with my lip that people think is strange, but that is hard to explain here. LOL!
10. If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Ed Sheeran or Beyonce. Ed Sheeran because he is a beautiful song writer and I would love to do an emotional soft song with him. And with Beyonce; I wanna dance!
11. What can you tell us about what you have planned for 2015/16?
Well, coming up, I have more music coming for everyone; I am currently in the studio as we speak. I am also working on myself as an actress, wanting to improve in that area. We have some exciting things coming up on The Alli Simpson Show on Radio Disney; and the rest is a secret!
