For a while I was looking for a natural product that would serve as a good cleanse for the system - nothing too harsh mind you, just something to detox and purify.
After some searching, I found the The Beauty Chef’s Cleanse Inner Beauty Powder. It can be taken as part of a 14-day cleanse, or just as a daily cleansing boost.
We recieved ours from Nourished Life, one of our favourite toxin free stores!
The Inner Beauty Powder contains:
"Power ingredients like chickpeas, adzuki beans, mung beans, lentils and organic sprouted pea powder provide fibre to aid the elimination process and help remove toxins from the body. additionally, broccoli, beetroot, kale, rosemary, St Mary’s Thistle, dandelion, spinach, nettle, lemon, collared greens and a unique phyto-greens blend including spirulina and barley grass work to support the liver’s second phase of detoxification, while a super-blast of digestive enzymes balances gut health. To unlock the benefits of these wonder ingredients, the cleanse formula is fermented using the beauty chef’s exclusive flora culture™ bio-fermentation process, whereby a unique mother culture containing a variety of lactic-acid producing bacteria bio-activates and supercharges the ingredients, making the nutrients more available to the body. The result is a broad-spectrum, natural probiotic that supports the cleansing of your liver and internal organs to promote healthy, radiant skin.” (www.thebeautychef.com)
The powder contains no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives. This is super important to us here at Swank & Roche as we don’t like harmful toxins or chemicals at all.
I have now been taking the cleanse powder for about a month and at first I hadn’t really noticed much difference in my skin. However, after about 1-2 weeks of taking the power daily, either mixed in water or in my breakfast smoothie, I noticed that I had more energy...not something that I was expecting - but definitely a bonus! By about the 3rd to 4th week, I noticed the skin on my face was also brighter and looked healthier.
I do think that for best results to your physical appearance, you have to work from within and there isn’t much point in trying to find a ‘quick fix’. In all honesty, without ensuring that the other things that you put into or on your body are nourishing, taking the cleanse powder, probably won’t be as effective.
Keeping a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet will help to ensure that you get the maximum benefit!
