World Organics is a family business devoted to natural beauty and well being. Their products are derived from the Earth and are organic as well as free from harmful synthetic chemicals and pesticides. Here at Swank and Roche we love TOXIN FREE beauty and are always eager to share our new and exciting finds with you all. This month we got our hands on some lovely Lipsticks and Lip Glosses from the World Organics Range.
The lipsticks come in a range of colours, they are pigmented and smooth to apply. They also last quite some time on the lips without drying them out. As with most lipsticks, if you eat and drink you will likely need to re-apply, but I wore the lipstick to work in the morning and did not have to reapply until lunchtime.
The lip glosses are not sticky and they work wonderfully on their own or worn over the lipstick to plump up the lips. We did some swatches of both the glosses and lipsticks so you can get a better idea of which colour you like and which would be the most complimentary on your skin.
From left to right:Lipgloss in shade Barefoot, Lipgloss in shade Meadow, Lipsticks in shades, Cashmere, Wisteria, Sahara, Stardust and Summer Sands.
Our favourite shade would have to be the 'Sahara' Lipstick, a warmer nude shade that we absolutely love wearing. Sometimes we also like to wear this shade with a swipe of the 'Star Dust' lipstick over the top. 'Stardust' is a sheer nude pink that adds a lovely subtle shimmer to the lips. I also love to wear the 'Barefoot' gloss over the top of 'Sahara' if I want a bit more shine. The 'Barefoot' gloss is a more bronzy golden colour which helps to make the nude lippy appear more golden - perfect for summer!
Whilst the lipsticks are not drying, for those who want a little more moisture, or are prone to cracked lips, I would suggest wearing the BARE lipstick underneath. This lipstick has no colour and helps to moisturise and repair the lips. You can also wear this on its own.
